FAQ.

(1) Why is this page here?

Good question, you ask. I don't know. There's no good reason. I hardly ever get questions, and none of them are ever frequent. It's all pretty straightforward. But here we are. Might as well put some things here that are maybe helpful.

(2) Why is the background of this page white instead of the usual black color?

Because Shopify isn't letting me change it for some reason, which is really annoying.

(3) Who runs this site and is it a scam?

The person who runs it is me (Liam), and everything here is real and legitimate. I live in Connecticut, and I make music. I write, record, and mix the music myself. Then I design and source the merchandise myself. Then I put them on this website and make videos and advertise those through Instagram myself. Then I package and ship the orders myself. And I do the customer service myself (liam@songsiwrote.net). Then I do my taxes myself and cry myself to sleep. Just kidding (about the second part). Now that I've written all that out, it sounds crazy. The nice thing about doing everything yourself is that you have complete creative freedom and independence. The not nice thing is how much work it is. I'll probably need some help someday.

(4) Why did I get an email saying "your downloads are ready"? Am I getting a real CD? How do the downloads work?

So, if you "buy" ($0) a product that's a digital download ONLY, you'll instantly receive an email with the files. If you buy a physical product that has downloads included, you'll receive an email with the files once your order ships. Just know that when you receive that email, you aren't only getting those downloads — you are still getting a physical CD/product. Check your inbox for a shipping email that should arrive at around the same time.

(5) My order was damaged during shipping. The CD is cracked/package was bent/etc. What should I do?

Please email me (liam@songsiwrote.net) right away. I can send you a replacement for free, or I can refund you. No questions asked. If you provide information about what happened, that can be very helpful for me to prevent it from happening again. You never have to return anything. With vinyl records though, I just ask that you please listen to the music first and make sure you like it before ordering. I can't really afford give out random refunds on those (unless they're damaged during shipping).

(6) Why aren't there more questions?

Because I have to go do other things now, and this seems like a good start so far. But let me know if there's other stuff I should add here. Thanks!
